Aqseptence Group is a leading global supplier of specialized products, equipment and system solutions for filtration & separation and water technology for various applications.

The company is headquartered in Germany’s Aarbergen, close to Frankfurt am Main and employs around 1,400 people. The company is with branch offices throughout the world with offices in Europe, the Americas, Asia and Australia. In total, it has another 14 divisions of the company, 23 fully integrated sites, additional sales offices, as well as joint ventures and a network of representatives.

The history of the company begins in 1652 when Count Johannes Nassau-Idstein founded Michelbacher Hütte, which was bought by Adolf Samuel Passavant in 1884.

In 1917, the work of William Passavant, the son of the founder, was continued. Reorganization was carried out in 1980, and in 1999 the company merged with Roediger-Anlagenbau and since then has received the name Passavant-Roediger Environment Technology.

In 2003, the company acquired the German manufacturer of products and services in the field of municipal and industrial water treatment Noggerath. In 2004, another German company was acquired under the name Intech, a supplier of municipal energy optimization products and services. The following year, German companies Geiger and Roediger Vacuum were acquired, as well as the American company Airvac.

In 2006, rebranding was held at Passavant-Geiger GmbH, and in 2013, the American company Johnson Screens was acquired, but parts of the company in South Africa and Lexington (Virginia) were resold in the same year, and the company itself was reorganized into Bilfinger Water Technologies GmbH. The name Aqseptence Group GmbH was officially branded in 2016.

UNICAP has been in close partnership with Aqseptence since 2005. During this period, a series of joint large-scale infrastructure projects were implemented.
