Orthodox Fund named after the Holy All-Praised Apostle Andrew the First-Called
The Foundation of St. Andrew the First-Called is based on the basis of traditional religious values and is called upon to carry out the mission of the revival of Orthodoxy by promoting the current priesthood. The initiative of the foundation’s projects was blessed by confessor to Patriarch Kirill Schema-Archimandrite Iliy (Nozdrin).
The main objective of the Fund is the rational use of donations from the philanthropist, as well as sending them to important humanitarian needs:
- restoration and reconstruction of iconic objects of worship, historical buildings;
- the construction of new churches at the request of laity and clergy;
- support for youth, moral and cultural upbringing and education of generations;
- conducting field events, pilgrimages, trips to iconic historical places;
In the framework of the Foundation’s program of activities, it is planned to educate and methodically, create a safe and conflict-free world order for uniting Orthodox believers in different countries.
Currently, the Fund exists as a private initiative and began its activity with participation in the restoration of the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
UNICAP intends to support and develop the activities of the Fund.
